Sustainability is at the core of everything that we do.
All Etta Jewellery is hand made in the UK and where possible incorporates and reworks vintage pieces into fresh, modern designs.
Below is an in-depth look at what we sell and how we do it, so you know buying from us doesn’t harm the environment.
Made of 90% recycled material (only the outer of the box is not), they are fully bio-degradable and able to be recycled.
Made from 100% recyc0led materials, Our tape is an environmentally friendly. It uses a solvent free adhesive that provides the same bonding strength with less toxicity and fewer environmental side effects and PVC free.
- Tissue Paper
100% recycled post-consumer waste tissue paper, process chlorine free
- Drawstring Bag
Every Etta jewellery piece is delivered in its own unique, hand sewn drawstring bag. The bags are made from vintage fabric, and so use resources which are already out there.
We hand stamp our logo on all packaging with a stamp made from beech wood which is ethically-sourced and grown within the EU.
The stamps are made of polymer, not natural rubber. Compared to natural rubber, our process uses around 95% less electricity to manufacture your stamps and produces about 67% less waste material. There are no noxious fumes produced in our process, unlike with natural rubber.
We recycle, compost organic wastes, and recycle or donate our textile scraps whenever possible. Zero waste is our goal.
E - Commerce
Shopping on our e-commerce site, on average uses about 30% less energy than traditional retail.
We only buy and partner with suppliers and retailers who share the same vision of sustainability and transparency.
